Shipping, Returns, and Policies

1. Order Agreement: Shawmut Coffee Co operates this website, and by placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are provided to ensure a mutual understanding and agreement to protect both parties and set expectations for our services.

2. Stock Availability: Products are subject to stock availability. While we strive to maintain accurate stock counts, discrepancies may occur. In such cases, we will fulfill available items and contact you regarding backordered items, providing the option to wait for restocking or process a refund.

3. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs, calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination, will be collected with the purchase. This amount constitutes the final shipping cost for the customer.

4. Delivery Terms:

  • 4.1 Transit Time Domestically: Domestic shipments typically take 2 - 7 days.

  • 4.2 Dispatch Time: Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of payment, operating Monday - Friday during standard business hours. Shipment delays during national holidays are minimized.

  • 4.3 Change Of Delivery Address: Address changes can be made before dispatch.

  • 4.4 Delivery Time Exceeded: If delivery exceeds the forecasted time, contact us for investigation.

5. Returns: Coffee, classified as a grocery item, cannot be returned.

6. Tracking Notifications: Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link to monitor shipment progress through the latest updates from the shipping provider.

7. Damaged Parcels In Transit: If a parcel is damaged in-transit, reject it if possible, and contact customer service. For delivered parcels, contact customer service with the next steps.

8. Sales Tax: Sales tax is applied at the checkout.

9. Cancellations: Cancellations are accepted before dispatch. If dispatched, refer to our refund policy.

10. Insurance: Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the courier-stated value.

  • 10.1 Process for Damaged Parcels In-Transit: Refunds or replacements will be processed post courier investigation completion.
